Looking Ahead the Pepper Way!

ChatGPT Image Dec 28 2025 07 34 25 PMThere’s something about this quiet stretch between holidays that always makes me pause. The decorations are still up, the calendar is about to turn, and the year ahead feels wide open — full of possibilities, plans, and a few surprises waiting to happen. I don’t make grand resolutions. I prefer something steadier — small steps, thoughtful choices, and a mindset that says be ready, but don’t forget to live. That’s always been the Pepper way.

In the months ahead, you’ll find more useful prepper tips here — the practical kind that fit real life. The ones that help you feel a little more confident and a little less stressed, whether it’s organizing, planning, or just knowing where things are when you need them. There will be plenty of news from around Willow Lake too. The gang is never short on opinions, projects, or plans, and there’s always something brewing — sometimes literally. Madison Garden Center will be gearing up for another busy season, and knowing this town, a mystery or two might sneak in along the way.

At home, I’m looking forward to more quiet moments — a cup of tea, or glass of wine, by the fire with Ian, Mo keeping watch over his favorite spots, and Roxie reminding us all that rest is just as important as readiness.

A new year doesn’t have to be about reinventing yourself. Sometimes it’s just about carrying forward what already works — being prepared, staying curious, and leaving room for joy.

If you’d like to make sure you don’t miss any of it — the prepper tips, Willow Lake updates, or what Mo and Roxie are up to next — you might want to sign up for my monthly newsletter. It’s where I share a little extra, straight to your inbox.

Here’s to a year ahead filled with calm, confidence, and plenty of good days.

Stay prepped and prepared,

Pepper
